Cameras Helping to Keep Some Trucking Companies from Paying Big Bucks
Having cameras in a truck could seem a bit intrusive, but the benefits look to outweigh the possible negatives. Many drivers and companies have faced serious lawsuits and have paid thousands (even millions) of hard-earned money as the result of accidents.
SmartDrive cameras are now being installed in trucks and the cab as a method to help protect drivers and truck companies in the event of an accident. Some truckers are already using them and have seen the benefits as they’ve had accidents, but were able to be found as not being at fault.
How do you feel about this new tech? Is it intrusive, or helpful? Do you use any cameras now or even thinking of employing some for yourself? We’d love to hear your feedback!
